Well it's just that politicians act like videogames are ONLY played by kids. And ONLY kids would ever think of picking one up. Obviously a child isn't going to even GET Killer7 long enough to play it anyway! I think the problem is NON-gamer's perceptions of what games are! They always think it's only for kids. They think it's nothing more than a time waster and they think that that games can have absolutely NO artistic value either! I told my mom one day that I look at games as just as much a work of art as I would film, paintings, or music, and she basically said that that's not possible and that I'm too naive to even think that in the first place or something.....

I didn't EXACTLY understand what she was saying since she didn't even have any clue what she was talking about ANYWAY!!! People always criticize games and their ratings but I'd say that the ESRB rates games ever more accurately than the MPAA rates movies! And I MEAN that too!!! I find that game ratings have more accurate descriptions of what are in the games than movie ratings do! Just check some time! The MPAA will leave things out sometimes but I've found that the ESRB doesn't tend to do that.
