If it turns out anything like the trailer, it'll be the most badass movie ever. This was a pretty cool story from the director:
Alright now probably one of the coolest things to ever happen in my whole life happened moments afterwards. I stood inline to meet George Romero and all day i was trying to get myself perpared so i wouldnt act like a fan boy in front of him. If you want to know how i feel about Romero, just listen to Roger Avarys commentary on the Day of the Dead dvd. Over the last couple of months ive had the opportunity to meet alot of famous people i have always wanted to meet, and when meeting them i held myself together very well. But nothing stands close to Romero, the guy is a hero of mine and has created some of the greatest cinema of all time. But like Roger, i thought well maybe i should just wait and make a great movie and get the chance to meet him through a film party or screening someday, but then when you think of how old he is now, i might never get a chance to meet the guy ever again. so i stood in line with my bro.
By the time i got up to him, i felt ready, i was confident that i would be able to present myself in a professional way. Once it was me and my brothers turn to go up, i stood infront of Romero and just as i was about to say something he looks at my shirt and yells "Hobo with a Shotgun"! in the same fassion Tim (the Voice over guy from our hobo trailer)" says it. Me and my brother look at each other in shock. Romero looked up at me and asked if i was the guy that made it, I said in a in a still shocked as fuck voice "yes" and he said are you going to make a full movie, again i said "yes" and he said something along the lines that, that was great and good luck in the movie bussiness. i blurted out something retarded like "your an inspiration to my work". Anyways IT WAS FUCKING AWESOME, me and my brother walked away, and it took us a second to realize what happened, George Romero saw something i made and it resinated in his head. That alone i think i could retire now and feel happy.
