Moonlight Syndrome's gameplay is indeed horrible (I've played too little, I'm the point where Mika is at her room and can't get out otherwise her mother's on her ass), but it does look decent.

Is the creepy old man at the beginning that principal you talk about?

A little aside, I'm actually happy for how No More Heroes turned out in terms of gameplay. Comparatively with other action games in the market, it sucks, but it represents kind of like a revolution for Suda51/ghm in particular. It shows that he's actually learning.
Let's hope he doesn't get demoralized by the lack of success the game had in Japan, and actually sees the game as an evolution (in gameplay mechanics).

Now, if he improves his gamplay further and uses it in service of a great adventure game, I'll eat it up. That would be like the Holy Grail.
