LULZ, I just got a five post hate mail spam from a lj community I post at simply because I stated that Korean singer Boa (She just released an American album 5 days ago.) is not R&B. She sings R&B, but that does not make her an R&B singer.
Then again this is the same guy who posted up JERO (A Black enka singer.) as if he were RnB. Simply because jero's Black. They were also talking about that new Utada album as if was actually good. Any Utada Hikaru track where she tries to sing R&B is automatically shit, because she can't sing worth shit. Only Otakus, and Japanese people who don't know what good music sounds like listen to utada hikaru.
At least I learned about Leona Lewis throughout all of this gayness.

Amazing vocal range. I think I finally found the "Tsubaki" ballad sound that I've been looking for. Except unlike tsubaki, Leona is actually a success.
It makes me wish that Tsubaki was born in a Western country where people actually have decent taste in music.
The only reason Tsubaki is a massive flop is because Asians are retards who don't know what good vocalists sound like.
It at least explains why most of the popular singers in Asia can't sing worth shit. (It's because Asia does have good singers. Asian don't give a fuck about them though.)
Leona's cover of Run

Damn it's every bit as beautiful as
Tsubaki's kawa no nagare no yoni.

Tsubaki was my favorite singer, but she hasn't made a new song in over 5 years because everything she makes flops.
Tsubaki's voice is fucking amazing though.

Leona Lewis is the only other recent singer that I've heard who's just as good if not better than Tsubaki. (Hell they both look hot too.)
Here's some of my fave joints from Leona.

(Leona's cover of Run is my favorite song from her. Similar to how Tsubaki's cover of Kawa no nagare no yoni is my favorite track from her.)
I've switched over to Leona Lewis, because Leona has a similar singing style. Difference is she's actually popular in the U.K. & U.S.A.
tsubaki is just some broke ass bitch who can't even break Japan's top 20.
(Not her fault though. I blame Asians for having notoriously bad taste in music. Asian's don't seem to understand what vocal range is.)
Can somebody around here recommend me ballad singers from around the world who are equal in skill to Leona & Tsubaki.
It doesn't matter what language it's in, doesn't matter how popular they are. (Hell, look at tsubaki. I;m like the only person who talks about her music. otaku nerds only like her shit because of Sea of love.)
I just want to hear some good Soul Ballad joints.
That style of music is like crack to me. I can't get enough of it, but there are so few artists who have the skill to pull it off.
(Don't bother to name artists like Whitney Houston, or Mariah Carey. Everybody should know about the likes of them by now.)
Note: You can recommend Male ballad singers too. I'm not changing the name of the thread though.
